The invention relates to a fluorescent probe, in particular to an organic compound based on a two-photon fluorophore and application thereof. The organic compound based on the two-photon fluorophore is shown in a structural formula I, and the two-photon fluorophore compound is used as a fluorescent probe for detecting TrxR. According to the fluorescent probe disclosed by the invention, the corresponding fluorescent emission intensity is obviously changed in the presence of TrxR, and the fluorescent probe can be used for detecting TrxR. The compound has high sensitivity and good selectivity. The compounds can be used as fluorescent probes for detecting TrxR levels in living cells and mice, and have important biological significance for researching cell signal transduction of TrxR and further researching metabolism and effects of bioactive substances in cells, and finding out the effects of TrxR in health and diseases.
