The present invention relates to the field of electrochemical sensor, and is especially the method of raising the gradient sensitivity of solid contact ion selective electrode and its application. A photothermal nano material is used as a solid contact conduction layer of the solid contact type ion selective electrode, pulse near-infrared laser is utilized to irradiate the solid contact type ion selective electrode, temperature change is adjusted, transient current is generated, potential response slope is improved, and high-sensitivity slope response of the electrode is achieved. Compared with the traditional potential measurement under the zero-current condition, the method has the advantages that the electrode temperature is increased by regulating and controlling the solid contact conducting layer through the pulse near-infrared laser, the slope sensitivity is improved by utilizing the generated transient current, the limitation of the traditional Nernst slope is broken through, and the method is more beneficial to the high-sensitivity and high-precision measurement of the ion concentration.
